Welcome to The Nutritional Way Blog! Here you will find articles on a multitude of different dietary topics. Along with working one on one with clients, I love sharing with health and wellness information to use in your daily lives for a healthier you. We will have multiple series focusing on herbal medicine, family wellness, specific diets, recipes, the science of food and much more! My goal is to help put the science back into nutrition in an understandable way. There are some great health professionals that have done a great job bringing the nutritional research to the masses, however the difficulty always comes when actually putting the information into practice incorporating into your daily lives. I bought a cookbook that was put together using great information, however the recipes were hard to actually fit into my daily life. Some ingredients were harder to find, you had to do a lot of preparing ahead of time, and I can’t say my family were excited to eat the recipes, OK, they downright refused. Converting to any dietary change can be difficult, especially when you are coming from the western diet of high salt, high sugar, and highly processed food. Transitioning can be hard and when things become difficult, people usually give up. As a coach, I want you to succeed. The way you transition your diet is very important... However, you have to do it in a practical way to your lifestyle. It doesn’t have to be difficult to do as long as you are realistic with your changes which will allow you to follow through with them. You can stop the progression of chronic disease, and even reverse it with the food choices you make. So no matter where you are in your goal progress, you will find something here to help you succeed! I know that changing to a healthy lifestyle is achievable!
